Single Hood -
It is Everybody’s Problem

Anyone in a relationship is vulnerable of becoming single again.  It could be through a failed relationship, through the death of a spouse or through the breakdown of marriage.  Whatever the cause for single hood maybe, it will create it’s own set of negative emotions.

Isn't being prepared part of living?  We prepare ourselves for school, for our career, for our marriage, for starting a family.  We even take up a religion to prepare ourselves for life after death. So, my point of view is, why wait till someone become single again before we do something about this inevitable state of bad emotions.

My Lethal Weapon

I almost killed my husband and I could have got away with murder, as no one will ever be able to discover the murder weapon, that is, my negative emotions.  My transition from career woman to housewife has left a void in my life and without realising it; I have relied on my husband to fulfill my unrealistic needs for security and reassurances of his love for me.

I put him through so much stress that his immune system, already overwhelmed with stress from work, succumbed to my emotional pressure and he became very ill.  Only then, did it dawn on me that, had he not fallen ill, I could have pushed him to find comfort in the arm of another woman.

Taking responsibility for your feelings.

Teaching The Children About Negative Emotions
It's a game!!!
Sharing of Experiences My father passed away recently and even though my mother has the love and support of six adult children, she grieves and wallows in her negative emotions and is at a loss as to how she should lead the rest of her life without my father.  I could have become a widow too if my husband’s illness was not arrested on time, so, would I be able to cope with two young kids to fend?
Learn To Cross
Before Reaching That Bridge
I hope that in sharing my story, you too will realized, the importance of being prepared and of adopting the right attitude towards building up a strong and healthy relationship.  With a good foundation we will be able to maintain the right family values and keep the tradition of marriage well and alive.  I hope that what you learn here will inspire you to work with me in doing something meaningful in life.  Let us start by playing the “If” game. Playing The "If" Game

Let's SOYO, ie, Stand on Your Own, Together.
Be Inspired.

If my spouse has an affair, what can I do about it?

A Chinese saying:

"When someone shares with you something of value and you derive benefit from it, you have the obligation to share it with others".
