Tell Your
Children When You Have Made A Mistake |
Are you bothered by the fact that your
children are rude and are always shouting and yelling at one another?
Could this be your fault? |
|
Your
walking testimonials. |
Children are walking testimonials of how you
behave towards them. They are always watching and will imitate exactly how
you response if you let them carry on. |
|
You don't teach your children by shouting and
yelling or beating them. |
I made a mistake of shouting and yelling at my
little girl in my moments of impatience and I can see her doing it to me.
She even imitates the sarcastic ways I speak to her and uses threats on her
brother to get what she wants, the way Mummy is doing it.

|
Why nobody likes me?
|
What perturbs her is that she is only doing what
her Mummy is doing and yet she is shown so much displeasure at this
behaviour by all around her. So, how did I get myself out of this mess?

|
Tell
your children when you make a mistake. |
I admit to her that I made a mistake and that I
should not be showing my anger by shouting and yelling at her. I tell her to
remind me to count to ten if she notice that I am angry at her again. And if
I answer her rudely, she is to say, "Excuse me, Mummy", to remind me to
stop. I told her that I will do the same for her. |
| Don't leave them
confused |
I find this a very effective way to change her
attitude then leaving her confused as to why my Mummy can do it and I can't.
