Stop Complaining and Do Something

Are you one of those who have complained about lack of recycling centres in your neighbourhood?  Do you know that you can do something about it?

Alam Flora will be most happy to provide recycling bins if you are able to find an organisation in your neighbourhood who is willing to take the responsibility for running it.  However, for it to be successful, you will need to inform people in the area of the recycling bins availability and how they can go about reducing waste through recycling.

This can be done with the distribution of flyers “Recycle For A Better Future” issued by Kementerian Perumahan dan Kerajaan Tempatan for Kitar Semula.  Just indicate the name and address of the organisation where the Recycling Bins are located on the back of the flyer.

Interesting information you will be able to learn from the flyers are:

  • Why it is important to recycle.

  •  How to recycle.

  •  What you can recycle.

So, now that you know how easy it can be to start it off, begin writing to organisations in your area you think would consider taking up this project and make some calls.

For flyers on recycling.  Check out Kitar Semula website, www.kitarsemula.com, for a listing of the locations of recycling centres currently available.

Your children learn from their senses that rubbish smells and is a very unpleasant sight.  Teach them to reduce waste by recycling and they will be able to appreciate a clean and healthy future.

Recycling Is Fun.  Work on it and feel free to write to GreenBeings if you encounter any difficulty getting Alam Flora to provide recycling bins at the premises requested.
